…….in today's "tales from the hollywood bowl"……wow, what a fun day of surfboarding……5'- 6' good day at the office…..hiro and I were out 3rd and 4th today, I had to do a restart after being sucked down to the death-shallow zone, where I hit my knuckles on the reef duck-diving in the temples zone…..so  and over for a restart which proved easier the second time around…..rob the pest and ashram boogie beat us out…..it was an all-star showing minus the surf schools, indos and the pests who invade us on the 3' days…..it's the kind of day I like….5'- 6' with consequences……it didn't take long for the boogie to yell at me, he called me off a wave I wasn't going on, now since he put me on show/yelled, it was time to tell him how I really felt about him and boogies in general……once he was on his way to paddle past me again, I gave it to him…..told him to go in(which he didn't) and contiued on with my 4 hour surf…….I was on my 6'11" quad and it was a bit small on the bombs and a bt short on the heaving slabs…….I managed 20 + waves a few barrels one must have been good as gerry said nice barrel you lined it up perfect……jake and flynn saw it from the cliff as well as a few others from the cliff and water…..I told gerry I get lucky once in a while…..jake came out with gerry, tim, alex….jake borrowed one of gerry's board with the stipulation not to break it, only took him 2 waves to have 2 boards……it was a fun morning of low-tide surfboarding at the office…….
