---Krishnasurfi's thought for the day----> some of them were angry….at the way the earth was abused….by the men who learned how to forge her beauty into power….and they struggled to protect her from them….only to be confused….by the magnitude of her fury in the final hour…and when the sand was gone and the time arrived….in the naked dawn only a few survived….and in attempts to understand a thing so simple and so huge….believed that they were meant to live after the deluge…..

Mentawai Surf Report: 3'- 4' and good in the am, ainsley went for a paddle……afternoon the wind was on it…..no surfboarding for me today……..

…….in today's "tales from the hollywood bowl"……slept in till 6am……went and had a coffee…..and brought it back to the tree……caught up on some blog lay-out, pulled the hedge-house towel out, got the fisheye cleaned up…….got the drone in the air, had angie on the paddleboard, with my sea-snake suit on…….then down the back of the island for some mermaid pics…..some food, a nap……more coffee…….no surf although ainsley said it was fun……nice to have a day off……..
