.....…….in today's "tales from the hollywood bowl"…………we left the boat on the front mooring, so when no one else wanted to surf, me and surf-guide, went……it was 4'+, when the sets came……there was a boat, but no one, was out yet…..it was a slow frustrating start for me, but I hit a rhythm around wave 10……..my last wave I waited 20+ minutes for, some kook dropped in on me and didn't flick off……..I paddled in, and up to him and he was a tuff guy, and a prick, but I gave him every opportunity to show me what he had, but he backed down and I went in…….another great day here on the island……a nap, some internet, then the boys of the 2 boats that were parked out front came in for a look……my friend had to stay on the boat, as he was probably embarrassed or his pride wouldn't let him come ashore, o he missed out on looking at the driftwood architecture, and playing with the monkey…….we played some banana grams to exercise the brain……dinner, some tea and cookies…….now I am in bed 9:11pm……….today's photo is of surf-guide, fins out at ombak tidur………below…..……..……the sign-series continues…………….below(sea-level)…………..below…….……….is from the un-ridden wave series………below……..………is from Brian, my neighbor's point-&-shoot series………below……………………is the 2015-mentwai-surf-section.……below……..………is from the "shoot-from-the-hip" collection, it's the stairway to heaven.…………and finally, some ogoh ogoh's from the not so recent Nyepi celebration………
