......should have bought a tiger when I first relocated....oh well I have one now, and it is good for traveling.......up to Padang Bai in under 2 hours......11pm ferry to Lombok...air-con captains room 100,000rp. for a relaxing ride.....the ferry was a rockin in the middle of the lombok straight....they pack the ferry's with all sizes of trucks, buses, cars, people, chickens, motorbikes.....landed in lombok before 4am....only got lost 3 or 4 times, no one is around at 4 am to ask directions......made it to desert point, just after 6am....to 2-3 foot waves.....got settled, slept a bit, food and coffee......only generator for electric, so it's off most of the day, no cell phone reception here either, had an afternoon paddle, it was packed with screaming locals, loads of brazillians.....still got a few waves, and I saw some really good ones though....some 4-5 on the sets, although it was inconsistent....today's picture is from a ceremony at Joel's house........the "pre-wedding it's ok that the soon to be wife can stay at his house" ceremony.......the wedding is on Nov. 7th.....
