Philippines day 1

……1am…..Cebu city…..philippines……I could not get comfortable on the flight…..no sleeping for me…..a screaming kid the entire flight did not help….once we landed…..I say to tyler immigration will be fine…it's 1am how bad can it be???……he replied it's the philippines and there will probably only be 1 officer……it was not as bad as that…….but still it was a proper cluster-f%$@……no lines, koreans pushing, shoving, cutting in line…….after 35 or so minutes we were through…..the days inn driver was there to meet us….…the place was 5 minutes from the airport…..we settled in, I watched another episode, before finally dozing off……so I slept from about 3am - 730am…..we had our "breakfast included" breakfast, and back to the airport for our our Cebu to Sayak Airport to our destination in Siargao……home of "cloud-nine" a known surf break, with a 2+ meter swell to greet us……..unfortunately the wind is straight onshore at the moment……although we did scout around, found us a trusty boat driver who is meeting us for a 6am trip out to the rock islands, for a morning paddle…..the whole place is that green dense, palm tree lined, rock reefed, type spot that surfers flock to, resorts are built around, and good times are had…..we got some motorbikes and re-coned the area, went to cloud 9, had some food……a nice day in the phillos….....today's photo is the reason why the tv was fuzzy……I thought it was the wind or clouds or something……or something was right…..it was just mr peacock fiddling with the dish………below….

…..mr tyler's fish pond, next to the dining room/out-door-patio….…below……….chinese new year decorations at terminal 21 in bangkok……..below………can not get away from them anymore…….and finally, I am not sure if it looks like this here, now, the typhoon HAI YAN reeked havoc here, and the devastation was well…..you can see from this photo……
