.....thought for the day-----> "the world is not different from you"........

.....well today's surf was good......now 4'-6' means to me, that the inside waves are 4'(now to get those is complicated, as the average waves 5' and the sets 6' will break in front of you)...so 4'-6', to me, the way I measure it, and always have, is, this.......the majority of waves that come through are 5'ers(10' faces), the sets are 6'(12' faces)....and the inside small ones are 4'ers(8' faces).....so it was fun......not scary fun, but fun fun.......for example, I got 20 waves......10 of my waves were 5'ers, 5 waves were 6'ers, and the other 5 were a blur......it was glassy and really fun......most of the time I was on my own furtherest down the reef.......I took a really long one and got caught inside.......it was a proper nusa dua beating......it took me 15 minutes of constant paddling to get back out, and by the time I did I was down at chickens......I thought jim had gone in(he was so far up the reef I did not see him).......it was good......2014 is shaping up as a good surfing year.......I have surfed everyday so far.......what is today's photo of???....flip flop massacre???.....the Aussie miners front porch the day after they go back to work???......you decide........below.................weaving by hand & feet........below..............a picture is worth 1000 words........below..............off to yoyo's........below...................sunrise in sumbawa.....and finally my friend Sasha(who I have known for 48 "new-years") with his daughter Maya......he said no fooling around, be serious for this photo, and smile.......
