.....I was thinking, as I sometimes do......about the weirdest stuff......today's thoughts are about countries......america is a christian country, so the christian ideals and traditions prevail, and that molds the way everything is set up......like praise god and pass the ammunition......gay marriage is kinda legal in some places, marijuana is kinda legal some places.......prostitution is kinda legal in some places, everything is disguised in a cloak of decency......indonesia is a muslim country so drugs are a serious offense, prostitution is not really ok, and just kept quiet, the corruption runs rampant, and is ok, and just kept quiet......thailand is a Buddhist country, and god is on the inside of each being, so prostitution is ok, the old folks can have opium to help with the complications of getting old....it's all so strange to me.....if Las Vegas was a bit like Pattaya, it would really be a tourist destination.......our visa'a are ready for pick-up, the NA Convention was successful, and we made a couple meetings....pattaya is an interesting place, I understand why people hate it.....I actually enjoyed my stay.....food was excellent......Digger and I had some laughs, and shot some photos......all good.....heard there might be a swell next week, so I'll check the surf from Tylers, and we'll get our tickets back to indo.......the shot below.............is an example of am at Tyler's....it's Tyler in his chair having breakfast and coffee, reading the paper, chatting on the phone, with Lulu one of the 4 Chihuahuas basking in the morning light......I enjoy am's at Tylers.....good conversation, laughs, some philosophy.....a great way to start the day.....today's photo is of one of the village elders partaking in the Kuningan ceremony......holy water, incense, rice, flowers, praying, meditating, and all the rest of it......this is the first shot I have of me participating, thanks to Nik......I kinda like it.......the part I do not like is my lens is playing up, and my auto-focus is out of whack, pissing me off.......
