Getting down and Dirty 27th January 2012

The westerners are killing the market . I will have to pay Rp1,000,000 per month or $100-us for a maid... That is what ! Is called progress. Great waves and great times. The last 3 days, have been big scary, with 8 foot plus waves at Nusa Dua Bali . Them days your with only a few guys . Your head is saying! Your going to get smash out here and die . But you go out anyway and with the support of your mates. Your truly in the moment and walls of water are hitting the reef like mountains. I have this voice in my head of Richard mash, saying to me one day at airport lefts in Bali . If you are not were their breaking, you can not get a wave . I paddle into the impact zone and get one . Its the greats feeling in the world ... It pick you like your nothing and then sucks off the reef , You look down a this steep face of a wave and hoping that it will let you on . You make the wild drop and your heart is in your mouth. Then you come back to the now and see a big wall of water and you know you need to go high, on the face of the wave to get speed. Then you reach top speed, its time to try and turn and look for the barrel or let the wave wall up again and hit the lip with speed . You kick off and warm feeling of pleasure comes over you . I pushed my self beyond my limiteds ..... That is why we surf and thanks to my surfing buddies ...
